I this two-part Voyager episode, the Voyager comes across Borg space – and it is vast. They also find out that the Borg have gotten themselves into quite a mess by crossing over the dimensional barrier and hitting the hornet’s nest with a stick. Fortunately, the Doctor is able to whip up a potential weapon, and Janeway suddenly has something to negotiate with. She strikes a bargain with the Borg to transport Voyager across Borg space in exchange for the key to destroying Species 8472. Meanwhile, Kes is communicating with 8472 by her ever-expanding telepathic and telekinetic powers, and Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero One, is welcomed aboard the USS Voyager.

Episode Info

Will Riker comes aboard DS9 while he’s on vacation. The amazing thing is that Riker is as smooth as can be with everyone (except O’Brien). He doesn’t seem like the regular wooden Riker. This is proven when he gets access to the Defiant, phasers Kira, and steals the Defiant! He’s actually Thomas Riker, who now is fighting for the Maquis! Sisko and Dukat must work together on Cardassia to capture the Defiant before Tom starts a war. The problem is that Dukat also has to deal with an Observer from the Obsidian Order, Karinas.

In a fascinating episode, we find out that K’Ehleyr has had a child… probably from when she met Worf a few years ago. But there’s much bigger problems to tackle. The Klingon Emperor, K’mpec masterfully forces Picard to mediate the challengers to the throne as K’mpec dies. It is between the relatively unknown Gowron, and the despicable Duras. We get to see two meaningful deaths, and we even see an honor dual between Klingons. Who wins? Find out by listening!
