Bored Vulcan Fan Pullers

Join the crew of the USS Relativity in the 31st century as they travel back in time to review the DS9 episode Through the Looking Glass. The crew will also try to earn quatloos by answering historical trivia after the review. So join¬†Captain Chris Sixx, Science Officer Keri, Chief Engineer Mike, and Helmsman Bill for this week’s mission.

This episode’s photo shows mirror Kira decked out like Cleopatra complete with two bored-looking Vulcans pulling fans. What happened to the HVAC system on mirror Empok Nor? I almost took another shot of the TerRAN slaves processing ore, but it seemed a little overused. Also, we did find out that the ore they process is BajORE.

This episode’s photo shows laser Barkley addressing Captain Picard. ¬†Notice the laser is quite bright despite not having a lot of smoke in the studio. This was accomplished by filming at 8 and sometimes 6 frames per second instead of the 1980′s standard of 24.

This episode’s photos show’s an amazing and probably unique Kirk-fu move: the Full Facial Butt Smash. Dramatic and insulting at the same time. Brilliant! Here’s a link to the full battle where you can see this move in action (thanks to¬†Kayla Iacovino¬†for having this clip on YouTube). Don’t forget to listen closely to hear a cartoon sound effect when Kirk hits the floor after this attack.

Can anyone make an animated GIF of this??? THANKS OMEGA47!!

Star Trek ENT: These Are the Voyages…, TNL Rating: 0/10 Offensive (special 1-time adjective),¬†running time 1:16.

Riker holographic clothesJoin the crew of the USS Relativity in the 31st century as they travel back in time to review the ENT episode These Are the Voyages... The crew will also try to earn quatloos by answering historical trivia after the review. So join¬†Captain Chris Sixx, Science Officer Keri, Chief Engineer Mike, and Helmsman Bill (temporarily out of this timeline) for this week’s mission.

This episode’s photo highlights a HUGE argument that the Treknologic crew have had for perhaps over 100 episodes! The question is finally answered. Star Trek has HOLOGRAPHIC CLOTHES. Booyah! Did you hear Keri, Star Trek has HOLOGRAPHIC CLOTHES – BOOYAH!¬†Here we see Riker’s holographic Enterprise uniform in the midst of de-rezzing (you can see the patch on his arm), and underneath we see his¬†standard¬†TNG uniform.¬†

Mike tries to pretend that Riker was barely moving, but this is right in the beginning of the episode. He stood up and walked for a bit before he turns off the historical recreation and his clothes fade. You can check for yourself without incurring too much neural damage due to exposure to this episode.

Next week: Chris valiantly commands us clear from this horrific disaster film, and takes us into the future as we time travel to the original NCC-1701. Enjoying the potentially political part of the this episode, Chris decided for more politics with splash of mystery as the crew reviews the original series episode Journey to Babel. Same Trek time, same Trek channel!

This episode’s photo shows the timelines as they alter following an incursion from the time weapon aboard the ship Pequod (okay, okay, we just gave it that name – it doesn’t have a name in the episode). Loving time travel, this is what hooked us right from the beginning.

This episode’s photo is the 5 square kilometer pink city. Note the astonishing size of the trees if that city is actually 5 square kilometers! Why didn’t anyone tell director Hal Sutherland that he was color blind?!?
